The end of 2017 and beginning of 2018 have been stressful and hectic, and I have missed this blog in the meantime! As happens when life gets out-of-control, we must pick and choose what we have the time for, and unfortunately this blog became something I needed to put aside to maintain myself in survival mode 😦 I am happy to have relatively maintained exercise and a healthy diet… with some definite slips along the way. I have experienced several big personal changes in the past several months, and I have been reeling to get myself re-balanced. With all of the recent changes, I am ready to make 2018 a year of personal wellness and stability; and I hope to continue to help you do the same!

It is the end of January now, a time to reflect on whether we have stuck to the goals we likely created at the end of 2017. I like to make goals often, re-think my goals often, and re-determine what I need to do to get there – and to stay healthy along the way. Hopefully each of you took some time at the end of 2017 to take stock of the year and think of what you may like to work toward this year. And if not, fear not! It is not too late! I actually think the end of January is just as good a time – really an even better time after the holiday stress has worn a bit – to check out where you are and consider where you’d like to be.

In 2018 I am going to strive to get back to this blog regularly, and hold focus to one or a handful of topics each month. I strongly believe that really maintaining focus on ourselves and gaining self-understanding means taking some real time to work on key areas of self over a period of time. I hope to provide much helpful information so you can do the work to make lasting healthy changes this year!

Let’s get excited for 2018!
