Overnight oats are so simple, and delicious eaten cold, which makes them perfect for grab and go breakfast or a snack during the day. So quick and easy to put together, this is truly easy meal prep! I put mine together in mason jars, but Tupperware will do. I am pretty in love with mason jars right now for easy food prep, easygrab and go! I make 10 at a time, one a day for my husband and I, and it takes no time at all!
My go to base recipe is…
1/4 cup oats
1/2 cup sweetened or unseeetened almond milk (or any milk)
1/2 T. Chia seeds (Opt.)
1 packet truvia (or other artificial sweetener, or small amount real sugar)
Then add any fruits! I like 1/4 banana with 1/4 c strawberry per jar, or 1/4 banana plus 1/4 c blueberries per jar… any will work! Try dried fruits as well.
Screw on lid, shake to mix it up, and store in the fridge! Just a few minutes gets you breakfast and/or snacks all week!
