Grilled cabbage.

I adapted this recipe from and we made on the grill. DELICIOUS!!!! A must try, grilled or baked as in the original recipe (link below).

  • 1/2 head of cabbage 
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 cloves garlic
  • Juice of 1 fresh lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt 
  • pepper to taste


Blend olive oil, garlic, lemon, salt, and pepper. I used a magic bullet, as in the original recipe, but any blender, beater, or crushing and mixing of ingredients will likely do!

Cut cabbage into 1 inch slices. Spray grill basket/grill pan – or tin foil – and place cabbage rounds on top. Brush both sides with garlic mixture, and grill! Roughly 10-15 minutes per side. Yum!
