Frittata.

The frittata is a meal go-to I love, because I can pack it full of anything I like for a low calorie, filling, cheap, healthy meal option. I eat frittata’s for any meal, and use whatever left over meats, beans, veggies, grains I have in the house!

Start by chopping up any meats, veggies, grains, beans, herbs, whatever you desire – the beauty with this is you get a completely different flavor every time. It is why I love eggs so much!

Drizzle some olive oil in the bottom of a pan (one which can be placed in the oven). Sauté the ingredients you chose from the step above. Add some salt and pepper, any spices and seasonings you like.

Mix up 5 egg whites (add some whole eggs if you like). Once the veggie mix is ready, spread the mix about the pan, and pour the egg mix over top, covering everything as best you can. Let cook on the stovetop for a couple minutes and then place in the oven to broil for a few minutes more. Watch to see when it looks done – this won’t take long – and enjoy!

Just veggies and egg whites is nearly zero for calories, so perfect even for a snack. The more you add, the more filling and meal-ready it will be!
